Sweet Stamping with Sketch and Stash using a Magnolia-licious Spoon Full of Sugar

This will be the first year in the last 10 that hubby is not going to be away on Valentine's Day.  A Spoon Full of Sugar want a Valentine and whereas I have in past years always made hubby 7 of them (one for each day of the week he is away), this year I only need to make one so it had better be a good one!  Magnolia-licious have a photo inspiration - a room decor in soft beiges and browns with three flower arrangements.  The challenge set by my old mateys at Sweet Stampin is Clear as Mud and they also want to see browns plus one other colour and Sketch and Stash have a super sketch.

So using a cute little Tilda (courtesy of Julie), coloured with Copics and Promarkers, and combining her with some lovely brown/beige tones of my K&Co paper, I have made this easel card.    I have incorporated some roses (hubby's favourite flower) to tie in better with the flowers in the photo inspiration and Tilda is holding some heart bunting by Karen-Marie Klip.  The bunting and the toppers for my sentiments are old stash.  The sentiments are stamped but I didn't have the phrases I wanted so I actually cut some individual letters off of other words and made the ones I needed.
I went to a craft fair with best matey Julie on Saturday - it was my birthday - (Hubby kindly drove me there to meet her).  When Julie and I got home, he had been shopping for our lunch and had laid up the table in the kitchen with lovely sandwiches, smoked salmon, shrimp and dip, individual little bottles of pink fizz, desserts, linens, glass ware, flowers and candles - just for Julie and me to have a spot of lunch before playing.  My Craft Room had a single rose in a bud-vase and two bowls of chocolate covered peanuts and raisins and he had clearly hoovered in there too!  What a sweetie!!!  I got lots of lovely craft goodies, amongst other things, for my birthday from him too.  And some form Julie of course!    In the evening Tom took me out to dinner at my favourite restaurant.  What a lovely day I had!
