Little Claire
I have a dear friend (who hopefully doesn't look at my blog) who likes chickens. This cute Henny Penny digi from our sponsor Little Claire was the perfect image for her. I used Copics (not terribly successfully) to colour Henny Penny herself and I paper pieced her cushion and the ribbon around her neck from Heidi Swapp's "Sugar Chic" pad; the same papers I used for the background.
A sentiment which came free with a magazine, a couple of flowers from my stash and some leaves cut with a Poppy Stamp Meadow Leaf die were my finishing touches.
I had fun playing with Alex's lovely sketch. My fellow Saturdays have come up with lovely inspiration for you. Do visit their blogs and share some love with them and then scooch some space on your craft table and join in the fun with us.
I am entering my card into the following challenges:Little Claire - "Use Kraft Card"
ABC Challenge "H is for Happy Birthday",
Crafty Creations - "Seeing spots" (on the cushion and the hen) and
Whimsy Stamps - "Colour an image"
