I'm unusually happy with the way my card turned out today. I used Mariposa papers by DCWV with, I think, a Memory Box "Happy", a Papertrey Ink "Birthday" and number dies by Die-Namics. The fish are Memory Box too called Clever Koi and is available here. I cut them from silver card and inked them in teal and metallic copper and they change colour quite dramatically depending on the light and look really fishy IRL!
In retrospect I could have been more clever with my bakers twine. I missed an opportunity to place a fisherman's hook or fly on the end. If I do something like this again, I will try that. The sentiment on the inside does of course refer to Best Birthday Fishes. And here is Debra's fab sketch.
I will be entering my card into the following challenges:
Make my Monday - Earth Day; and
The Male Room - letters or numbers

I think this is fabulous. I really like the die cut birthday greeting and the super fish. Thanks so much for playing along with The Male Room!
Awesome!!! I cant find a Memory Box fish die anywhere. I've searched for hours... Where did you buy this tool?
I had to create cards with fishes for our local fishing club and I need this fish die. ;-)
Kind regards
Simone
