It's Saturday which means another fab sketch from
This week we are sponsored by the wonderful
and we are also celebrating having
2000 followers
with candy galore

This week I have used a new Lavinia Stamp of these sweet little houses and I attempted to colour them with Prismas on Kraft.  I have almost no experience of using pencils on Kraft and I was less successful than I would have liked.  Also I found my liquid applique snow quite hard to apply on such teeny roofs but I still quite like my card.  Snowflakes are Spellbinders I think and my sentiment is Papertrey Ink.
We have a great sketch as usual this week and a great sponsor too so why not come and play along with us.
There is lots of inspiration on our challenge site and don't forget to join in with our

I miss you Lesley!! How ya been?
Your card is totally adorable and I think you did a fabulous job of coloring on kraft. I think it is easier to color on kraft if you give it a light base coat first, then come in stronger with color. I do think yours' look wonderful though and the snow on the roofs is such a great touch!
Are you done traipsing around the world haha!
Have a great weekend!

so gorgeous lesley.fabulous winter houses and i love your colouring on the kraft :D
regarding my snowbird card.I started by using my dies to create a circle card base and all i have done is added an oblong layer to the centre,i find it helps to stabalize the card as sometimes when i add embellishments it can tip the card on to its side so the oblong down the centre stops that happening :D hth

xx coops xx

Morning Lesley! I like the Prismas on kraft look. It matches the DP. The total effect is "old world" to me and has a warmth and charm to it. The card turned out beautifully.
