Colour Create a Copic Creation of a House Mouse (or two) for Simon Says AND a Creative Inspiration Sketch & Stash!

I had an absolutely fabulous day crafting and chatting with Julie and Alex yesterday and continued to be productive even after getting back home.   Here are two of my three makes...

My first card is for my special friend's young daughter who happens to be a fan of all things pink which made it a perfect choice for the challenge at Colour Create this week who want to see pink, grey, blue and white on our cards together with the option of gems and or flowers.   My card is a bit of a candyfest because I won the gorgeous ribbon and pretty Prima flowers, amongst some other sweet treats, from my matey and clever crafter - Janiel recently - thank you Janiel, and the flourish of pearls is part of some candy I won from another talented blogger - Fiona, last year.  Thank you too!   Papers are DCWV and I used some gem brads and some stickles to give it some bling!
The image is a new House Mouse who wants to see something representative of New Beginnings.    The recipient of this card was quite poorly last year and, having finally discovered the cause, 2011 should be a great year for her with no hospital stays and a new beginning to her young life!  The use of my brand new image, coloured in Copics, ties in nicely with the challenge at Copic Creations who want us to use Something New.  This fab sketch is courtesy of Domi at Simon Says.  I moved the flowers and added an extra one.  The Tiny Tag is an SU punch.
The cupcake in the image is gluten and dairy-free or else the young lady destined to receive the card could not join in with the mice to finish it off!

For Card number 2, I used the sketch at Sketch & Stash and combined it with Creative Inspirations' colour combination of brown, blue and white.  I chose much softer shades of blue and brown than in their photo inspiration, using only papers from my scraps drawers for this make.  I know the mini-check is Papermania but I'm not sure about the other two.  The brown, I think is DCWV.   The image is another one of my newbies - this time by Pepper & Friends. This one is coloured in a Copic and Promarker combo.   The frog's eyes and the metal pump are both glazed.  Sentiment is Stampin Up, mounted on a Spellbinder's die cut label and the perfectly matching ribbon is courtesy of Alex.  Thank you Alex!  My glue wasn't dry on the buttons when I took the photo but it will dry clear.  I'm just in a rush to enter the challenges!

Love what you've done with froggie, didn't see him in the flesh but love how you tied all your colours together and that ribbon really is the perfect match!
