Papertake Weekly & Cute Card Thursday
Papertake Weekly has a really simple sketch this week which I thought was just right to combine with the challenge over at Cute Card Thursday to make a card for a younger boy. The CCT challenge is in fact titled "Snips and Snails and Puppy Dog Tails" and I have taken liberties by using a rat's tail and frogs (almost as slippery as snails but much more cute!) and I think it still works. This card is actually for my BIL who is not a young boy at all on the outside but is definitely one on the inside!
The image is House Mouse; coloured with pro-markers. The little frog button is by Dress It Up, the white candy is courtesy of Alex's generosity (thank you) and the ribbon and papers are from stash. I used a Cuttlebug folder to convey the occasion as the PW sketch didn't specify a space for a sentiment. Inside - it reads "Just hopping by with a Birthday Hi!"
