Sketch Saturday #296 with Simon Says Stamp

It's Saturday and time for another sketch from
sponsored by our lovely friends at
Simon Says Stamp

I needed to make a card in a bit of a hurry and I didn't have time to colour an image so I chose these pretty Teresa Collins Fabrications "canvas" papers, some recollections flowers and Marianne Design leaves and teamed them with a Memory Box "happy", a PTI "birthday" and a fat staple.  Job done!

It's an unusual colour combo but it looked very pretty IRL.  Sadly as it seems to be pouring with rain just about ALL the blimmin time these days - my photograph is pants.  Hey ho!

Do come and play along with Jen's lovely sketch and don't forget to share some love with my teamies.
I would like to enter my card into the challenge at
The ABC Challenge - E is for Embellishment
(I used a fat staple, ribbon, shop bought flowers, die-cut leaves);

Goodness! Never heard of flat staples? Where have they been hiding all my life. Love the colour combo. Need something to brighten our dismal grey days up with. Roll on Spring. hugs Mrs A.

For a "Quick" card this is fabulous! Love the colours you used and we need some bright ones in all this dreary rain we keep getting here where I live! Hugs, Vannessa x

A sign of a genius crafter is to be able to put a card together in minutes that looks like you took hours. You really have a knack for combining the perfect colors and patterns too!
