This week I think I have actually managed to stick closely to Deb's fabulous sketch. Hooray!
I really liked this sketch and I like the design of my card although having finished it, I wish I had opted for less contrast between the focal centre panel and the DCWV design papers behind. There is some yellow and soft orange in the DPs but it isn't very visible. The purple window shade on my house fails to pull in the background colours because it's just too small and although there was green and purple in my uppermost banner I covered up the green. Still, I had fun with this lovely memory box village die and cutting my sun rays for the sky. We sure do need some sun round these parts!!! My sentiment is Papertrey Ink.
I am entering my card into the following challenges:

I love your die cut scene, Lesley. I never thought twice about the colors of the focal panel and BG until I read your post!! I get what you mean though. It's happened to me before too. It's a wonderful card.
Hugs, Cathy xx
This is gorgeous sweetie & I love the scene you have created with that die, it looks awesome!! Could def do with some sun in the UK.
Lotsa hugs Vicky xxx
Love your fabulous card Lesley, what a great scene you've made. Yes I do get what you mean after reading your post but I wonder if that is because your camera hasn't picked the colours up.

Great scene I love the dies. Really great way you used it in the sketch. Color choices are perfect too. Thanks for joining us at Aud Sentiments.
A fantastic card... love how you created the scene without a stamp LOL.
