"I is for ... Indigo"

What colour is Indigo anyway?    For the purposes of being able to play along with Mo Manning's DP2 challenge of "I is for..." I think the sky, in this my first ever Hanukkah card, is "indigo" at least near the horizon.    I bet the talented team at DP2 were not expecting a beach scene at this time of year!
I coloured "Bekka with Challa" with Copics and framed her in a new floral oval Spellbinders die. I decorated my card very simply as I wasn't sure just how much embellishment would be suitable for a Hanukkah card.  I absolutely love this image and so did the beach-based recipient of my card!  It feels soooooo good to be colouring up some of Mo's images.  They are absolutely my very bestest favourites.
As it happens Crafty Creations want to see Anything other than Christmas and Crafts and Me have an Anything Goes challenge which I am also entering.
I am a bit manic having just returned from having been in Florida since the end of October.  I have to make birthday cards for a number of winter birthdays, make, write and send Christmas cards and do my decorations all before Saturday so please excuse me for not coming by.  Roll on January when I expect to get a new battery for my laptop and I look forward to catching up with my blog buddies!
