This card is supposed to look like a bandaid (what we Brits used to call an elastoplaster) but I'm not sure if it registered as such. I suspect that the recipient, a special young man (and son of a VERY special friend) , was surprised to have received something so floral and pinky/flesh coloured and certainly his mum didn't register that it was supposed to be a bandaid. It is one of those cards that looked great when I saw it in my head but not so good when it became a reality.
I pin pricked the holes around the top and bottom and used a dotty embossing folder for the centre panel. It looked a lot like a bandaid to me at that point but very dull so I added a pullout sentiment and then topped it with a tag and some flowers, making it less suitable for it's male recipient!!! Hey ho!
I am entering my card into the following challenges:
Kaboodle Doodle - Tribute to a loved one; and
Anything Goes at Paper Take Weekly, and Loves Rubber Stamps.

Lovely tag. Thanks for sharing at Loves Rubberstamps.
What a novel idea Lesley. It does look like a bandaid to me. The colors make the card look masculine.
Well I think its brilliant and love it too.
