Sketch Saturday #279

It's Saturday which means another fab sketch from
where this week we are sponsored by our very own Lizy
who just happens to be a Stampin Up Demonstrator and who is sweetly offering some fun SU stash for this week's lucky winner drawn at random from entrants who use her sketch.
You can see her SU site here.

Before I get on to my card this week I wanted to say a BIG
THANK YOU
to all of you who left concerned comments about my hand last week.
I want to reassure you that I did actually go to the hospital within an hour of sustaining my cat bite on account of there being puncture wounds and it's just as well that I did.  I had a Tetanus shot at the hospital and today I will have completed a course of ten days really strong antibiotics.  The good news is that my hand has returned to it's normal size.  The bad news is that the wrinkles have all come back too!!!   If any of you ever have the misfortune to be badly bitten by a cat - you really must get it treated within an hour or so because apparently cats' mouths contain some really nasty bugs that can potentially result in life threatening ailments and their teeth are so sharp and thin that they act as a kind of injection to push those bacteria deep under the skin and into the blood.   By the time The Hubster took the photos of my hand, I had already taken 3500 mgs of penicillin.  It took a further 7000 mgs before the swelling had reduced enough to be able to use the hand at all and I will have taken 15,000 mgs in total by the end of today.
The sentiment I have chosen this week is by Stampin Up and is called "Love & Sympathy".  I'm sure you could order it from Lizy here.  I assure you that the stamping of the sentiment on my original card was very clear; much clearer than it appears in my photograph but in case you can't see it, it reads:
"Those whom we have LOVED never really leave us.  They live on forever in our HEARTS and cast their RADIANT LIGHT on our every shadow" and is attributed to Sylvana Rossetti

I teamed my sentiment with a Cuttlebug embossing folder and a PTI stamp; loosely using the stamp to mimic the fishtail ribbons of the sketch.  And here is Lizy's sketch.  It's a super easy one and there is tons of fabulous inspiration on the Sketch Saturday blog so share some love with my fellow Saturdays and come and play along with us.

Oh Lesley dear, I am so so sorry to hear the wrinkles have returned. You have my warmest sympathies.

Glad to hear you hand was healing. I never knew about a cat's bite. Very scary since they are household pets. Glad to hear about the antibiotics, but that sure is a bunch of mgs.

This card is absolutely stunning and the verse is perfect. I lost my Mom recently and these words are very comforting. Beautiful embossing and vine placement.
