Christmas at Sweet Stampin' #9

We want to see your "Winter Animals"
and we are lucky enough to be sponsored by the lovely Elaine at
Quixotic Paperie

I chose this cute House Mouse image and made a Christmas lollipop as an embellishment.  I saw how to colour the candy here at Beccy's Place.  I didn't do nearly as good a job as Beccy did though. I glazed the candy with Glossy Accents before I realised I hadn't added any white highlighter pen to the curves but I still like it.

The embossing is done with Spellbinder Fancy Frame and standard Square Nesties and the sentiment and framing for the sentiment is Stampin Up.

My teamies have made wonderful cards and I know they would love you to visit their blogs.  And we would all love to see you join in with us for some Winter Animal fun at Christmas at Sweet Stampin this month.

Love House Mouse stamps. The candy embellishment is perfect. I am off to check out the tutorial. Looks great without the white highlight BTW.

Okay, this card catches my eye for numerous reasons. First, everyone loves HM images. They're just plain cute. But, then this card catches my eye because of the red and white theme--it's striking. Then, another reason (yes, there's more than 2 reasons) is the piercing on the paper. It is understated, elegant and gorgeous and then you add the red and white and HM...and you have a simply fabulous card. I love it, but you probably guessed that by now. --Gail

The white space has made for a super, elegant card. The pops do red really set it off. X
