Traditional Christmas

I had a great day yesterday!
I hosted a Stampin Up party for the first time with Nikki Raine - a wonderful demonstrator, and invited just a handful of very lovely and talented ladies including my best matey Julie of Catch me Crafting fame, the super fun Debby (Debby4000) and her equally fun sister Doreen, the amazing   Alex (Eisbaerentraeume) and my brilliant neighbours.  We were given a great demo by Nikki (and I got to keep the finished article) and then we all made a super pretty card with stash that Nikki had pre-prepared which I won't post here in case Nikki wants to demo the same thing for other groups.
After the party, Julie stayed to play for the rest of the day and I spent the whole time colouring this wonderful Crafts and Me image by Sara Burrier called Celtic Angel which you can find here.  This digi Angel actually comes seated on a beautiful corbel but I wanted her to perch on the edge of a sentiment.
I love making cute Christmas cards but I know that some of my recipients prefer a card which is more traditional and reminds them of the reason for Christmas so I Word processed a Bible verse on which to place my angel and added a simple PTI Christmas sentiment, some glitter to her wings, and a few gems.
I am entering my card into the challenges at
Crafts and Me #108 "Reds"; and
Sir Stampalot "Traditional Christmas

And here we all are playing with our Stampin Up stash!
