Sketch Saturday #230

It's Saturday - and that means another fabulous sketch from
This week we are lucky enough to be sponsored by the fabulous

A few Saturdays ago I was having some trouble with my mojo when I tried to make a card using this Nutcracker image from a set by Recollections.  I was happy with my Copic colour work but I didn't like my papers or the layout I had used so I made a different card for that sketch and prised off my image from the original disaster to use on this sketch.  I added a hand cut buckle to the design because I thought it went well with the buckle on the image and as a result I had to move my image further over and move the three dots to the right but I think it is still a reasonable representation of our fabulous sketch .
My papers are DCWV from the Citrus stack and the sentiment is PTI.

I thought this was a great sketch to use for a Christmas card because of it's simplicity.  We would love for you to have a go and play along.
Don't forget to stop by Sketch Saturday for some fabulous examples from my teamies.  They would love to see you visit their own blogs.
I have to apologise again for my own failure to come by to visit you.  I have been so poorly - acute Bronchitis which just won't go even with another batch of antibiotics and a whole pile of steroids too.

I am entering my card into the challenge at TotallyPaperCrafts reminding us that Christmas is 9 days and counting!

That's adorable. Love the addition of the buckle. I admire anyone who follows a sketch. I did my first one the other day and found it incredibly difficult to get everyhting where it should be. Hugs Mrs A.

Perfection! Love toy soldiers at Christmas time. Just may have to scarf this image up for myself. So sorry the yuckies are still hanging on. Rest and breathe and take your meds, rest and and take your meds. Boring, but it is all that works. Take care Lesley.
