Sketch Saturday #227

It's Saturday which means another fab sketch from
Sponsored by the wonderful
who are offering our lucky winner a fabulous £10 Gift Certificate

We have a fabulous easy peasy sketch for you this week but I have to say that it was not easy peasy for me. My mojo took flight and I made three attempts at it, trying to find the right background for my image which I coloured up before I chose the papers (duh!)...

I started with a wonderful LOTV stamp.  I hankered after this set (of three) Christmas birdhouses for at least 18 months before actually succumbing and buying them.  This one is called "Baubles" and is coloured in Copics with Stickled snow.  You can find it, and its companions, here.  Three Cuttlebug embossing folders were used for the quilted background and glittered up.  The sentiment is PTI.
I am entering this card into the "Bingo" challenge 182 at Creative Inspirations using the top row of white, snowflakes and ribbon and 155 "dots or stripes" challenge at Hanna and Friends.

Here are my original two attempts at this sketch.   This one with Dove Craft papers, a Nestie snowflake in the centre, some Martha Stewart snowflakes round the edge and a Stamps Away sentiment on a Stampin Up tag punch which I could enter into Creative Inspirations for the middle column of snowflakes, blue and glitter...  I don't know why my glitter has turned blue in the middle. It doesn't look like this IRL.
And this one with a mix of papers from my scraps drawer and a Memory Box wreath die covered in MS punched leaves.  The sentiment is LOTV.
And here is this week's sketch.  Please pop over to my teamie's blogs and share some love and then join in with our sketch challenge this week.

Such a perfectionist. Hope you had fun. They are all 3 fabulous in their own right. I do have to say I find the wreath in the last one the most interesting. Those leaves made in the same dp is a hit in my opinion.

Wow, three in the end!! Think you're way too harsh on yourself!! My favourite is the middle one - love the snowflake as the centre piece! But then I love the embossed squares with the spotty background paper of the first!! But then, I love the sentiment taking centre stage version too wiht the little trios of diamante berries on the wreath!! Great design!! Hugs, Juliexx
