Sketch Saturday #224

It's Saturday which means another fab sketch from
Sponsored by the wonderful

I had a Mojo bypass when it came to making my card this week.  I didn't like the first one so I made another.  The image from card number one will get chopped up and used in a different layout for a challenge another day.
I'm very happy with this one although it was done in a bit of a rush and it would have benefited from a little distress ink around the edges of my image.
I used Mo Manning's wonderful "The Tramp" which you can find here.  He has been coloured with Copics and layered up using some DCWV "Tattered Time" script and some plain DCWV which I have punched with a never used Martha Stewart punch.  I added a strip of Tim Holtz film acetate ribbon and a ticket I found in my stash.
Some Craftworks candy dots and (hopefully) a masculine flower have been added in keeping with our wonderful sketch this week.
Be inspired by the super makes of my fellow Saturdays and come and play along with us this week.
I am additionally entering my card into the following challenges:
"Anything Goes" at
Kaboodle Doodles #135 "Music, Dance or any of the Arts"; and
Crafts and Me #100 "Add a Flower"

You are quite right to be happy with this one, Lesley. Your colouring is amazing.
Printer talk again - I haven't really entered the world of watercolours, so I printed in black and colour onto some ordinary card, then swiped over it with a very wet brush. The black is waterproof, but colour not so much.

Gorgeous card indeed! I guess our mojo sometimes has to be cranked up a bit. I dislike it when my mojo isn't there when I need it. This is a very nice and wonderful card perfect for our challenge.

Thanks for joining us at Kaboodle Doodles’ “Music, Dance or Any of the Arts” Challenge!

I agree about the distress ink around the image Lesley, but I love the way he is just slightly out of the frame in places. Fab image and great choice of papers hun :)
