This one was all about the words. Wording was more important to the recipient. I simply used one page from my pretty Prima papers, some text by Edward Hayes word processed straight onto the paper with a PTI sentiment.
And this one and the card that follows concentrated on the image. I used a fabulous Memory box poppy die; cutting two sets of red and one of green. I cut individual petals out of the red, burnished them into curves and layered them on top of each other with some black liquid pearl stamens in between.
This card also contains some Marianne die leaves and a word processed sentiment.
My final card used the same design but on a taller card base and I omitted the Marianne die extra leaves. My framing for these cards is all on the outside of the base card. It affords a little protection for the poppies.

Sweetie I think these are the hardest cards to make & there is always a sad feeling when making them cus you are aware of the pain the recipient is feeling. I have to say tho that these really are all beautiful hun love them all.

Hello Lesley, as the recipient for the last card I can only say, it is even more beautiful in real life and it did make me feel a little better which was no easy feat! It also made me buy the die...
