Sketch Saturday #217

It's Saturday which means another fab sketch from
Sponsored by the wonderful
who are offering our lucky winner a fabulous £10 gift certificate.

I have a very good friend who has a bit of a teddy fetish and this wonderful Elisabeth Bell stamp called out to me from it's never-opened packaging to make this card for her.  She is called "Beary Big Hugs".  I used my absolutely gorgeous new Prima papers called En Francais, a Word processed sentiment and some small cuts from a Nestie die for the two little buttoned "thingies" to the right of the image.  Before colouring this beauty with my Copics, I  stamped a few florishes round the edge.  I avoided adding any embellishment because I think our sketch this week is perfect without them and I didn't want to obscure my lovely papers.
There is a raft of wonderful inspiration from my teamies on our challenge blog.  Do go and share some love with them all, make a dash for your stash and come and join in with us this week.

I am entering my card into the following challenges:
Elisabeth Bell's World "red, white and blue";
Raise the Bar "red, white and blue"
Let's Ink it Up 25 "All girl";
Hanna and Friends 150 "We celebrate";
Ribbon Girl 21 "photo inspiration" - I used the colours blue and light terracotta;
Cupcake 201 Le Tour de France;
Papertake Weekly "all things girlie"; and
ABC "T for Two" I used two little nestie pieces on the edge of my image with two little buttons.

This is lovely Lesley. I see you and I suffer from the same ailment--how to embellish without covering up the yummy paper. LOL I think you chose the perfect way to do it. :-) Hugs!
