"Ewwwww" I hear you shout!

I made and posted this gift box back in September.     I also needed a card to accompany it and here it is.  It will make a great valentine's set don't you think?    I actually bought hubby a gift that I thought was a tiny decorative tea kettle - hence the tea related theme.  My mate then told me that what I had actually bought wasn't a tea kettle at all but a wine pot!  Oh well - hubby generally prefers wine over tea.
I cut my card shape with my Cricut, added some Laura Ashley DP to match the teapot "china" pattern and some pretty Prima flowers to tie in with the rose motif on the tea pot gift box.  My Teddybobea_tags_002 is part of a threesome and can be found here.  I coloured it with Promarkers and Copics and there is a Stampin Up sentiment and border stamp punched out with an SU punch on the back.

I am entering my card into the following challenges:
Teddy Bo 24 "anything goes" - THEY'VE GOT BIRTHDAY CANDY - see my sidebar!
Crafty Creations 153 "Valentine"
Cupcake 176 "all you need is love"
Creative card crew 2 "seeing red" (I hope there is enough red to meet this challenge)

I sliced the side off my finger yesterday and nealy fainted away from the pain.  Hubby rescued me where I was slumped on the bathroom floor with my arm up still tryng to bleed only into the sink!  I wasn't even crafting at the time.  I was cutting temporary business cards and my finger was hanging over the edge of my ruler when I went through it with the new blade on my craft knife. I found the cut off part on my top when I was lying on the bed recovering from my faint!  "Ewwww" I hear you all shout; too much information!    Anyway, having finally caught up with my blogging I'm now finding it very hard to type.  I'm a touch typist.  My fingers know where the letters are on the keypad but my eyes actually don't and at least six of my letters have been rubbed off the keys so I'm struggling to work out whats what without being able to use my fingers in the proper position!

Fantastic shaped card and tag - glad you found the spare bit off your finger although the story made me feel a bit dodgy - wonder if glossy accents would stick it back LOL!

Thanks for sharing your card that is :c)

Goodness me you poor thing. Not a nice accident at all. When I was little my mum sliced the top of a finger off cutting buttons from an old shirt and didin't even notice till she counted the buttons and had an extra one. Thats when she screamed!!!! Speaking of buttons, yep you spotted the wally button! I will be more divious with the next one.

Hi sweetie this is gorgeous love the fab shape & the tag looks brilliant shug.
Aw poor you wow that would of hurt like hell hunni.....altho I did giggle a little when you were nearly fainting but trying to keep your finger over the sink lol. Few years ago I sliced a chunk off my thumb I had been decorating but hadnt put the glass shelves back up. Anyway whilst hoovering I caught the glass funny & sliced thru my thumb. It was such a mess I had to ring my dad tell him come round as he used to be a male nurse. While I waited I wrapped a tea towel around my thumb & carried on hoovering to get it finished lol. It needed stitches but me & hospitals dont like each other so I just told dad he would have to keep dressing it lol....
Hope yours heals quickly shug.

Lotsa hugs Vicky xxx

A wine pot?!?!?!? Never heard of such a thing. Hoping your finger is now on the mend. I flinched just reading the story!!
The "teapot" box and cup card are stunning and I'm sure will get you brownie points after bleeding everywhere,
