Instead of the vertical ribbon, I cut out a lamp post with my cricut. I substituted Nestie Labels 4 for the circle and added a large Marianne Die Pointsettia and a Sizzix swirl. I couldn't work out where to put my sentiment and so I added an SU tab punch to the top. Papers are some of my favourite K&Co and the Magnolia Santa is coloured with Copics as is the lamppost. Stickles create the required sparkle on his fur trim and although not terribly visible the K&Co paper is also sparkly. Inside it reads "You light up my life at Christmas and always". And boy did he light up my life today. Sooooo much craft stash. So little storage space! I can see I'm going to have to have a really good change around to fit it all in!
For my second card, I used the "Treemendous" theme over at Stamptacular and I am combining the challenge with a Spoon Full of Sugar who want a "Christmas Card". I made two of these for my neighbours using Papermania paper for the tree and a gorgeous new Penny Black santa image; coloured in a Copic/Promarker combo with a little bit of paper piecing for his sack. The sentiment is Stampin Up.
