Simon Says: Just Magnolia

Oh look, another card.   I'm on a roll.  It is not the card I meant to make nor is it the card I need to make but hey ho...

Simon Says: "Sing it Baby" and wants us to create a card around a song theme.  I chose "Forget-me-nots" by Patrice Rushen.  It was a hit in 1982 and the chorus goes something like "sending you forget me nots, to help me to remember, baby please forget me not, i want you to remember".   I picked a fabulous "sketch" by Bev at Just Magnolia as the layout for my card and used the divine Rustic papers from DCWV (they are pre-embossed and a bit sparkly) with Tilda who is coloured in a combination of Copics and Promarkers. A few Prima flowers, a word processed sentiment and a little ribbon added some embellishments for this card I will send to a friend from whom I have been out of touch for way too long.

PS.  Lindsey asked me about the punch used on the bottom of my last card - it is yet another one I picked up by EK Success.

Some times cards take on a life of their own don't they? Still even though it's not the card you meant to make it's lovely. That Patrice Rushen song's a bit of the blast from the past, haven't thought about it in ages but it's going round in my head now.
