I made a resolution to use more of my Magnolia images. I love these little cuties and I have quite a selection now but somehow I don't manage to get them out very often. This card is for our lovely daughter, Emma. It's her birthday in September and we won't be able to be with her (she lives in Crete) so we are sending her a great big hug in a card. Just Magnolia's theme this week is "let's get sentimental". They want to see a sentiment on our cards. I stamped this sentiment from a set that Julie brought with her on a recent play day and I don't know the brand I'm afraid. Prairie Fairie want us to "punch it" and I used my MS butterfly punch, a little flower punch for the outside of the lilac blue flowers on the ribbon and two leaf punches. Flutter by Wednesday has an "open theme" which was perfect as their only requirement is to use "butterflies or fairies", and Create4fun just want a "birthday card". All of my papers and the ribbon this week are by Stampin Up. This is something else I have lots and lots of and I thought these pretty colours would be just perfect for our special girl! The flowers are from a variety of sources, some of which have been coloured with Copics. My image is coloured with a Copic/Promarker combination and cut out with a Nestie label.
