Mojo Monday and Polka Doodles

I have liked my recent creations but I do feel that more layering would enhance them.  I'm a real skin flint with papers - I gut everything - but having just increased my stash at bargain prices there is no excuse not to increase my matting.  Mojo Monday has a fab "sketch" this week which cried out for layers.  I have combined it with a Polka Doodles challenge where the theme is for a "generic card suitable for a male or female recipient" and I made a New Home card for my neice who has just moved in to a new house with her fiance.
I used Papermania and Stampin Up papers and a little house stamp from Stamps Away.

Hi Lesley

I am tight with my papers too .. .. well the ones I buy ready made.

The ones I print out myself I am more generous with!!

I once made a card for an order and they wanted another four the same. Sadly the paper was no longer available so now I tend to print a lot of mine so I don't have the same problem again.

Sorry .. .. back to your lovely card.

Lots of gorgeous layers and I love the colour combo. Great layout too.

Hope all is well with you.

Love Jules xx

Oh Lesley this is beautiful! How did you bring yourself to cut up those gorgeous papers?! I love the sketch you have used. Where is that border punch from? I haven't seen that before?
Hope all is well with you

Hehehe! I'm tight also with my papers but digi ones are the best because you always can reprint the ones you like and ignore the ones you don't! Thanks for entering the Polkadoodle Challenge - hope you can join us again next week!
