I am entering this card into a hattrick of challenges: Simon Says "make a card for a male; possibly a Father's day card" but it doesn't have to be for Father's Day. Stamp Something wants us to go "digital" and Mo's Digital wants us to "merge two or more of Mo's digital images". My card is for a male friend's birthday and meets the Simon Says requirements. I already had a plan for this fabulous image from Mo's Digital Pencil Too which is called "Looking for Clues" and is coloured with Copics. The original image shows the cute little PI following paw prints and I e-mailed Mo to ask if she would mind if I deleted the paw prints and added a birthday cake. I was really pleased that she agreed. Of course, using this digital image fits in with the Stamp Something challenge but in order to meet Mo's challenge I borrowed the little green frog (which ordinarily appears as a motif on Louis' trousers in Mo's image of Louis and Bronte sharing a cookie) and popped him next to the PI's shoe. The recipient of this card knows that I am a lover of frogs and so he won't be at all surprised to see the little chap in my picture. I finished off the card with part of the image of the cake magnified in a lens (I photographed a real magnifying lens, altered it with Photoshop and enhanced it with Copics) and a Stampin Up sentiment which worked a treat. I love it when a plan comes together!
