Have you ever finished stampin your image, colouring it in, cutting it out, mounting it, getting all of your DPs the right size and when you are just about to assemble the finished project you realise that you have made a huge omission for one of the challenges in which you were entering the card?
No?
It must just be me then.
This is attempt no 2 for the fabulous "photo inspiration" at Colour Create where attempt no 1 used black card on which I had glued my cut out image and it needed to be white! I almost didn't bother to fix it as the initial creation still worked for Claudia's great sketch at Cute Card Thursday but I really wanted to enter the Colour Create challenge too. I "know" many of the super ladies on the DT team there and the photo was...well...inspiring! In fact, I started makin a pre-no 1 attempt using the actual picture in the photo and, if I have time, and if it is any good, I might finish that too and post it later.
This card, however, uses Basic Grey and Sizzix papers, a fabulous KK image coloured in Copics (the reason I had cut out the image for attempt no 1 was because I botched the colouring in places), some brads and some word processed sentiments and I'm pleased I went back to the drawing board and colored it a second time!

Wonderful creation, Lesley! It made me chuckle to read about your "messing it up" because I do that all the time, just normally don't have enough stamina to redo it *lol*
