Simon Says: Forever Friends' Flutter by Wednesday's Truly Scrumptious Cute Card Thursday (Kit and) Kaboodle
This card has been through so many transitions and, in doing so, managed to miss or avoid some of the challenges for which it was originally intended. It started in my mind as a challenge for the Roses on Paper colour theme of pink, cream and brown but I couldn't find the right image to use for an anniversary card from the selection required by that blog. I liked the sketch over at Sketch and Stash but missed the deadline. So I opted for a similar fab sketch at Truly Scrumptious. The card originally had a House Mouse image (and would have worked for their Valentine theme) but the image was too small for the sketch and I decided to use this cute Forever Friends bear (coloured with Copics) and the theme of "hearts". The papers and candy are Craftworks as is the butterfly sentiment and given that I used a butterfly I thought I should also enter Flutter by Wednesday which has a "love" theme as does Cute Card Thursday and Simon Says Challenge. Having gone for the whole kit and Kaboodle - I may as well sneek it as a second entry there too where the theme is "spots and stripes".
