The challenge over at
Saturday Spotlight is to make a Valentine's card without using hearts. My hubby is nearly ALWAYS away on Valentine's Day. He takes his youngest daughter skiing for the February half term and I have always made him 7 Valentine's cards to take with him - one to open every day of his absence. They often have winter themes but this one is a little different. I borrowed the sketch from
The Sugar Bowl and I hope they don't mind. My image doesn't work for their challenge but it was a layout I hadn't used before.
Papers are a mix of Stampin Up and Craftwork Cards, and the sentiment and image - which is coloured with a mix of Promarkers and Copics - are by Hunkydory. I added some Spica sparkle on her stocking tops and jewellery.
