For my Truly Scrumptious Friend!

Challenge 24 over at Truly Scrumptious is a fabulous sketch which I rotated in order to make a THANK YOU card for best matey Julie and her daughter (my Goddaughter), Emily. 

It was my birthday last Friday and Julie made it really special!   She came to collect me in the morning and I opened loads of fabulous gifts from her and from Em.  The card she made for me was absolutely gorgeous.  If you haven't already seen it, hop over to Julie's blog and take a look here.  As soon as I had finished unwrapping all that lovely stash, we went to the craft fair at Sandown where I spent the morning buying yet more stash with the birthday money hubby had given me.  After grabbing a bite to eat, it was back to my place for a brilliant afternoon happily stamping eachothers stamps mixed in with some show and tell and some colouring!

We went halves on this fabulous Papermania paper.  The image is H&S; coloured with Copics and Promarkers.  Flowers are punched and Glimmer Misted (my first attempt at Glimmer Mist - bit worried about my cream coloured carpet!) and the border and corner punch were part of my Christmas present from Julie!  I finished it off with some little pearls and by cutting a small slit on the edge of the tag on the image and punching a hole through the tag, I was able to add a ribbon.  Sentiment was one I bought at Sandown and is Studio G.  

I had a really fantastic day with my really fantastic friend!
