Guest Designing at Tic Tac Toe

I was thrilled to be in the top picks at Tic Tac Toe Challenge#195 back in February with this Lavinia fox and doorway card and I was absolutely delighted to have been offered the opportunity to be a Guest Designer this week with the lovely TTTC team.  I made not one but two cards for their fun challenge and I have added the #214 board below my cards.  

My first card uses the themes in the central row - twine, flower and bright colours. I used a wood mounted Ranunculus Field floral stamp by Stampendous and a Stampin' Up splatter stamp from the Gorgeous Grunge set.  I used a combination of Distress Oxides and Zig  Watercolour pens for the colouring and a little Stampin Up tag punch.  The flower outlines and the sentiment are heat embossed.  I split the stamping - using the left hand part of the stamp on the right of my card and the right hand side of the stamp on the left of my card so that I could put my sentiment in the middle.

I thought I would enter this card into the following challenges:

The Flower Challenge#81 Favourite Flower.  I have so many favourite flowers that I'm sure these abstract beauties should qualify.

Krafty Chicks #669 All Occasions where I am additionally entering my second card.

My second card uses either the top row - craft item/tool, patterned paper (which I stamped myself) and a die cut, or the first column - craft item/tool, twine and a just because kind of sentiment.  The larger scalloped frame is maybe My Favourite Things I think but other elements are from the Concord & 9th Crafty turnabout bundle.

A raft of apparent email problems meant that I'm not entirely sure that these cards will appear on the TTTC blog but I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
