I have been a bit poorly with CoVid followed by a raging toothache which I'm sure was connected to how badly CoVid affected my sinuses. I had a root canal yesterday! Ugh! On top of that, I'm more tired than usual and my brain is a bit foggy so my cards today are simple Design Papers made to look like wallpaper with a Memory Box/Poppy Stamps diecut window and a recycled Christmas card scene placed behind.
We have a new theme for "Winter has come to Town" at Everybody Art Challenge and we would love to see your creations. Do check out the wonderful inspiration of my teamies and share some love with the Design Team by leaving comments on their blogs. My first card showcases a winter scene in town outside the window. Some diecut foliage, a simple sentiment and this Papertrey Ink Peace die cut on the window sill were the finishing touches.
And here are two more cards using different winter scenes. It's a great way to recycle last year's Christmas cards!
I am entering my cards into the following challenges:
Crafter's Cafe - #291 Dies, Punches
Krafty Chicks #639 All Occasions
Tic Tac Toe #189 December Holiday, Die, Embellishment (from the first row)
Oh my word-hope you feel better soon!Love your beautiful card and through the window Winter scene

Lesley... what a fabulous idea for old Christmas cards... and your "new" card could not be more adorable! I have to give this a try. Thank you for joining and sharing at Tic Tac Toe this week!
ReplyDeleteGREAT card!!!! I love the window with the scene from times past. The sentiment is such a great sign and the Peace die cut adds a pretty detail to the card as well. So glad you shared this card with us this week at Tic Tac Toe!
ReplyDeleteWhat lovely cards Lesley! Recycling old cards worked beautifully to create vintage views - what a clever and time saving idea. I do hope you're on the path to recovery and appreciate you sharing with us at the Tic Tac Toe Challenge this week!
