Whoop Whoop, I have been offered a permanent spot on the Design Team at Stamping Sensations and I'm absolutely delighted. Thank you Brenda and the team for choosing me! I see it as an opportunity to make more cards and make great use of some of my existing stash! I was recently told that we are supposed to use our stamps not just buy them! Really? Who knew?!?!
This month our theme at Stamping Sensations is "summer flowers" and we are lucky enough to be sponsored by Crafty Individuals. It is not necessary to use products from "Crafty Individuals" but if you have them, we would love to see them.
I am a big fan of the creative legend, Jennifer McGuire. I absolutely LOVE her work and I could watch her on YouTube all day long. My card today is one I made having seen one of her tutorials. I wanted to link to it but it was some time ago that I saw it and I couldn't find it. It used a stamp and die technique which enabled the maker to create two cards by cutting some of the stamped die cuts in half and using half on each card together with some whole ones.
I have used stamps from Altenew Peony Bouquet today in an interesting colour combo for me. I can't remember which sentiment die I used and I can't find it now. I am going to guess that my diecut "hello" is by Sizzix but please don't hold me to that
By the way, you still have plenty of time to enter our theme for "two tone" at Everybody Art Challenge.
I am entering my card into the following challenges:
Allsorts #683 Flora and/or Fauna
CAS Colours and sketches #476 Sketch (I hope this is CAS enough)
Krafty Chicks #618 Anything Goes
Simon Says Stamp -Anything Goes
Beautiful card. Love the soft colours.Anesha
