Have you heard the news with Mo's Digital Pencil

For my card today I have merged two images from Mo's Digital Pencil.  It is not necessary to ask permission to merge two of Mo's complete images but as I only wanted to use the chef's hat from Queen of the Kitchen and pop it on the head of Karate Boy, I asked Mo Manning if she would mind and she kindly granted me permission.

I found an on-line application for making a newspaper article here.  It was easy enough to use but I had no control over how the contents of my article would be spaced over the columns so it took me around 8 hours to write my article, repeatedly push it through the ap', and then copy screen shots of separate sections and build them into the columns I wanted with sufficient space for my image. The article tells the true story of a fantastic weekend we spent with our friends and I do feel that my hard work paid off.   I was so pleased with the finished article which continues inside the card here.

Our fabulous friends Kathy and Ian - the recipients of the card - were thrilled with the story line (which also refers to our mutual friends who were knocked from the top slot).  And here is a colour shot of Ian to show that I rendered Mo's image in the right colours.

We always have an "Anything Goes theme with a Mo Manning image" at Mo's Digital Pencil Challenge and we would love it if you would come and play with us.  If you need inspiration there is plenty to be found at Mo's sites.
