What a week!

Last Saturday was excellent!  Julie and I went to Alex's house for a day of crafting and we had such a fabulous time.  Alex helped me with my colouring again (but I still need a lot of practice) and both ladies produced gorgeous gifts for me.  Alex has a new craft room which is fully stocked with fabulous toys and the day went by way too quickly.

My working week was, however, terrible and instead of a part-time job I found myself with a full-time one - and then some - with no time for crafting and no time even to follow my favourite blogs and post comments on everyone's lovely creations.

I also learned, during the week, that a lovely lady I know has been undergoing treatment for cervical cancer.  Fortunately, after surgery, the prognosis is very good but she and her family have been through a terrible two months and the news served to put my own week into perspective.

So this was my card for her - with the warmest of wishes for a full and fast recovery.

Papers are Basic Grey.  The image - which is water-coloured was part of a free set I got with a magazine I think.  The sentiment is Hero Arts and all the other bits, including the lovely little Arum Lilies, are from my stock.
