It's Saturday and time for another sketch from
this week sponsored by the uber cool
Our own Marzena is responsible for this week's sketch and I loved using it with this pre-coloured LOTV image to which I added a little of my own colour. There were a number of aqua coloured postmarks on the Craftworks Card background DP which I was trying to match with the DCWV Old World Winter paper panel and the little girl's coat. It was only after I had applied everything to the background that I realised I had pretty much covered up all of the aqua post marks with which I was trying to coordinate! Good thing I coloured the boys scarf in red and green then, eh? I cut my image using a Stampin Up die and piercing stencil and I really like this shape. A memory box bow in Kraft and some little wooden snowflakes together with a new sentiment stamp from are the only embellishments.
Do share some love with my fellow Saturdays and come and play along with Marzena's lovely sketch.
I am entering my card into the following challenges:
I've done that before with DPs - everything looks great, you've matted your DPs then you put on your image and bam the part you planned to show is hidden!
ReplyDeleteWell regardless Leslie I think your card is lovely
