I absolutely loved our sketch this week although it taxed me trying not to obscure the little bird cages on the background DP which is Prima "Almanac".  I adore this image which is by A Day for Daisies but it taxed me too.  I'm not great with hair at the best of times and boy did I struggle not only with the actual colouring but also with working out what might be hair and what might be background.  This was my third attempt but I'm relatively happy with the end result. I botched a bit at the front because the hair goes in all directions and I couldn't make my coloured 'strands' comply.  I used Copics and Prisma pencils on her hair in the end.  She is such a delightfully pretty image don't you think?

I am very into my Lost and Found collection from My Mind's Eye at the moment.  Mustard isn't my colour at all but I love the "Sunshine" stack which I used for my large circle and the horizontal stripe. The banner and flourish is also part of the horizontal stripe and I added a little birdie in a clock from Prima "Almanac" collection.  A little bakers twine and a wooden birdhouse button were my finishing touches.   My sentiment is Stamps Away cut with multiple Stampin Up tiny ticket punches.  I have been going through a bit of a mojo downer recently but I am very happy with today's card.
