Tending Bar

I was absolutely delighted that my recent Teddy Bo card was in the Top Picks at Raise the Bar last week.  I was even more delighted that Joni offered me a Guest Bar Tending spot this week where their challenge is "Bundle Up".

I knew immediately that I wanted to use this brilliant image by Mo Manning called "Ready for the Snow" which you can find here.  And it seems particularly appropriate this morning as I woke up to a thick frost outside today.  I suspect it will see off the Penstemons in my garden which have been in constant flower since June.
 I used a sparkly floral DCWV design paper because it reflects my "favourite colour combo", which just happens to be the challenge at DP2, of red and turquoise and I coloured my image with Copics, adding a little latte into the mix.  Papertake Weekly have a "Free for All" this week where we can choose any sketch from their own library and I chose Sketch #54.  Cute Card Thursday want to see "snowflakes".   Mine are a Nestie/Marianne D mix, the tag punch is SU, the tiny sentiments are PTI.  I'm unsure of the origin of the larger sentiment which has been cut in a Nestie banner.
