Sketch Saturday #235

It's Saturday which means another fab sketch from
Where we are lucky enough to be sponsored by...
And I absolutely LOVED our sketch this week.  The husband of one of my cousins has his birthday just after Christmas and he has a very sweet tooth.  This image by The Digi Shop called "Special Delivery" fit the bill perfectly especially when combined with my Fiskars sentiment.  Oddly, I can't find the Digi Shop anywhere on line to link the image which I coloured in Copics.
My papers are DCWV Heirloom and Me and My Big Ideas Cornucopia and I thought they were perfect for  masculine tones. I'm going to enter my card into the following challenges:
Creative Card Crew Anything Goes and
My Mum's Craft Shop Song Inspiration - This is "If I knew you were coming I would've baked a cake"!!!
I feel very bad because I have been neglecting to visit my teamies' blogs.  Sorry ladies!!!  Please do go for a visit and share some love and check out their lovely inspiration for our challenge this week. Then come and play along with us.

  2. Brilliant card Lelsey. The rich colours are perfect for a male card. The image is super too. I know someone else you could use that for! If the image is Digi Doodle Shop, you won't be able to find them as I believe they have closed... xx

  15. Hi Lesley,

You aren't going to believe this..I was just at Linda's (Turtle in the Sand) blog, and seen your funny comment about someone "committing neat" on her work table...I thought I gotta go visit this lady's blog. Someone who makes that kind of comment has to be creative and inspirational. Low and behold, You REALLY are!! Not only that, I use to own Digi Doodle Shop, so you can imagine my surprise to see one of my old images! You've done a fabo job on him, and I just love the papers and oh my the shadowing in your colors!! I've just started creating cards (boy do I feel like a rookie at times), so I thank you for the laugh at your comment, and I thank you for your inspirations.
