This wasn't my idea

After receiving some really lovely comments on my last LIM card, I thought I would have another go at the Less is More challenge #79 this week which is "blue and green" and I'm also going to enter my card into Cute Card Thursday 228 for "CAS" and My Mum's Craft Shop #69 who are looking for "Christmas in August".
This wasn't my idea though. Ages ago, my dear friend Alex showed me a card she had made which was inspired by a lovely SU demonstrator called Joanne. I used Alex' inspiration to make a valentine's card earlier this year which I didn't post it on my blog.
I loved Joanne and Alex's idea of using punched hearts with this simple branch from a Stampin Up set.   Today, I swapped the hearts for baubles and opted to go with a turquoise blue, some Nestie embossing straight onto the card base (something I haven't done before) and a fabulous PTI sentiment stamp.  And here is the card I made first using their idea.
