The Great Outdoors in Summer time (but the weather is Autumn)

Penny Black Saturday Challenge site has had a makeover and to celebrate, they have had a big blog hop with lots of lovely prizes.  Their theme is "Summer time (and the living is easy)" but given the weather we have been having I opted to use this little guy in some warmer clothes.  He is called "Wish you were Near".   I coloured him with a Copic/Promarker combo and used my lovely Prima Nature's Garden papers for the background with a band of PTI (thank you Alex!) for the central stripe and I added a PTI stamp and die-cut aeroplane for my embellishment.
In addition to entering the challenge at Penny Black, I am also entering my card into Cupcake 203 "The Great Outdoors".  Cupcake mentioned blue and yellow things in the sky but I have to confess that I can only see grey things and a requirement for an umbrella or a hat!
