A Quick Thank You with Marianne's Stamptacular Creative Card Crew

I have just returned from visiting our family on the Greek island of Crete where the temperature was about 35 degrees C (95 F) most of the time!  I mailed back some sun last week and it was already here when we arrived home yesterday evening.  I hope my fellow Brits are enjoying it!

While I was away, two honourary "Aunties" took it in turns to look after my cat and I thanked them today with a lightly decorated bottle of wine each using my fabulous Waltzing Mouse stamps and some card stock from my stash which I think might be Papermania but I can't be sure.   My photos are pants I'm afraid but I was in a rush to give the bottles to the aunties. I added two Marianne dies and a Recollections flower to the front and an extra Studio G "Thanks So Much" stamp. I think my bows looked neater when I handed over the wine!
I am entering my projects into the challenges at
Creative Card Crew - "black card stock"
Stamptacular Sunday "173 To Die For"; and
Marianne's Design Divas "Anything Goes"

And now for a few photos of the holiday:
Our private pool at our favourite hotel on the coast where we stayed for just 2 of the 13 nights.  If any of my viewers are looking for a holiday in Crete, I highly recommend the Aldemar Royal Mare Hotel near Hersonissos.  We've stayed there 13 times and LOVE it!
Our handsome grandson on the piano (he turned 3 years old during our trip)
Moving further inland - a view from a day trip
And deep inland in the mountains
For a traditional evening with friends
And finally - our grandson and his beautiful mum!

  1. Very classy looking tags for the Aunts. Love the color scheme. Crete looks so serene and beautiful. I would love to take a glass of wine around that pool. Daughter and Grandson are gorgeous! I know you hated leaving them.

  13. Your grandson is losing the toddler look and getting the little boy look. And he's shot up! I want that pool in my garden, not sure it would fit though. Hmm. As for the bottles, they look fab. Gorgeous tags. I know where you've been shopping. :) Have a great weekend. xx
