Karen has a villa inland from the Costa del Sol overlooking Lake Vinuella. If anyone is interested in renting it, there is a website here. There were 11 ladies in total and lots of sun and fun was had by all.
Karen studied interior design and the villa is absolutely stunning and so comfortable. There are lots of summery challenges around at the moment so I opted to make her a thank you card depicting the summery view of the lake through the archway on the rear patio where we enjoyed so many fabulous meals and the occasional alcoholic beverage!
I made a faux painting of the lake view as seen through the "window" of the arch using Copics and a white gel pen to add detail. Some Cricut cut foliage and a cocktail add extra depth and dimension. The teracotta tiles have been laid individually (I do wonder sometimes why I decide to do such things - there are about 80 of them!) and I added a Studio G stamped and coloured orange slice and sentiment.
