Mo's Digital Pencil "Inspired by song" - Charlie Chaplin

It's my second week as Guest Designer at Mo's Digital Pencil 2 and I still can't get over my luck!  This week the challenge is to be "Inspired by song".
I opted for a song called "Don't Speak" by No Doubt, fronted by Gwen Stefani, using Mo's iconic image of the famous silent film star - Charlie Chaplin and I coloured him with Copics.   He is called "The Tramp" and you can find him HERE. I have to confess that I was a bit scared of so much black colour work and, as usual, I've gone a little too light and his suit looks more grey than black but I was pleased with the overall look of my card which was for the birthday of my Dutch friend Jeroen.   I wrote the newspaper article and added it as an additional sentiment together with the clapper board.  The circular sentiment is by LOTV.  The papers are DCWV from a "Music Stack - I love the theatre curtains - and I added a tiny bit of my new Tim Holtz film strip.  Here is a close up of the news
With so many songs and so many fabulous images of Mo's to choose from, do come and play.  And check out the stunning creations of the fabulous design team at Mo's DP2 - wow - there is so much inspiration!
I am entering my card into the following challenges:       My Mum's Craft Shop - "remind you of a song", One Stop Craft - "Anything Goes"; and Sketch Saturday - I rotated and flipped the sketch like this

  4. Making that newspaper headline is a fabulous idea. Your friend is certain to feel very special when he receives this card.

PS. Hate black coloring myself. I probably would have took the safest way and paper pieced. I have ruined too many digis trying to perfect black. Your black suit is perfect not too grey at all. I am in black Copic envy, haha.
