Papertake Weekly at The Sugar Bowl with Copic Creations.

Ever since my birthday, when I received her, I have been just itching to ink up this Sassy little Pillow Talk beauty by Sugar Nellie from Funky Kits.   The Sugar Bowl has a "sketch" and a "love" theme but it doesn't have to be romantic love.  
I used ONLY copics to colour my image because Copic Creations want us to use "cool colours" and I liked the idea of using just blues and greens.  Thank heavens my new E00 refill arrived this morning.  My main skin colour pen ran out yesterday halfway through Tilda's face!  Panic!
I struggle with hair at the best of times so I spent ages and ages on this and I have to say that I'm pleased with the result. A more experienced colourist would undoubtedly really enjoy colouring in all the individual strands.
The main background DP is DCWV.  I'm afraid I'm not sure what the vertical  piece is - it came out of my scrap drawer - and it didn't have quite the right colour stripes so I coloured in some of them myself with the same Copics I had used on the image.   The Sugar Bowl sketch included a butterfly wings motif behind the main image and I really struggled with what to use to represent this.  In the end I popped a few "Got Flowers" from Prisma down each side, added some gems to their centres and some "leaves" (from a Lily punch).  The flowers, together with the floral DP, made my card suitable for Papertake Weekly who have an "anything goes" theme with "flowers".
I added a bit of Craft Works candy for the finishing touch and the sentiment is by TPC Studio.
