A Papertake Copic Sugarbowl

Papertake Weekly have an "anything goes" challenge - perfect for this birthday card for my beautiful Goddaughter, Emily, who will be sweet 16 next week.  I wanted to use Elisabeth Bell's "Claudia the Artist" by Sugar Nellie for my card because the image looks like Emily; tall, slender, chic and very pretty!
The Sugar Bowl which is celebrating it's second birthday, has two massive secret prizes and a great sketch to follow.  They also want to see embossing and although it is not very visible in the photo I embossed the horizontal band across the centre and the taller panel behind my image with a Cuttlebug folder.   I coloured my image with Copics and some Spica pens for her jewellery.   Copic Creations' challenge is for "sparkle" so I used some of my most favourite K&Co papers and added glitter to the scallop nestie behind the image.  Best matey, Julie (Emily's mother) gave me some Really Tacky Glue amongst lots and lots of other goodies for Christmas and so I am finally able to start using some lovely flowers on my cards.  None of the glue I had before ever worked.  Some of my favourite ribbon, a few Martha Stewart branch punched leaves and some pearly wires (also from Julie) finish it off. 
It's not a great photo again, though.  Sorry!
I'm also sorry that it has been over a week since I dropped by anyone's blog - my Mum is visiting currently and blog-time has not been possible.  Promise to pop by soon!

    Hello there sweetie this is just gorgeous I'm sure Emily will love it. I love your image I'm sure I have this one....I think anyway I'm not sure TBH lol. Colouring is fab & I love your flowers. Enjoy your time with your mum hunni blogland will always be here shug.
