Totally Gorgeous Polka Doodles

Julie and I went to Ally Pally on Saturday and had a fabulous time.  I spent way too much money on way too many toys including four background stamps; two of which are made by Impression Obsession and measure just under 6 inches square.   The theme over at Polka Doodles is "wedding" and this week Totally Gorgeous wants "texture" so I used one of these really large stamps with some Versamark and silver embossing powder to make the background for a wedding card for the sister of my son-in-law who is getting married this month.  A little more Versamark and silver embossing powder on my Papermania sentiment stamp and ... voila... a simple card using the bride's chosen colour theme of white and silver.
When I started this project I had flowers in mind but with all that silver and the lovely texture of the embossing I decided that anything more on this card would detract from it's elegance.
I don't know what is wrong with my photography lately - everything seems to have a strange colour cast - sorry about that.

    Lesley this is elegant. I have tried my hand at embossing and find it is not the easiest, so I certainly do appreciate this beautiful work!

    Your card is very elegant. I was quite tempted by these as well but stamps weren't on my shopping list. Did buy the hugely expensive curved acrylic block though!
