Spoon Full of Sugar & Papertake Weekly

For those of you who may not have seen (or read) my earlier posts, my hubby nearly always abandons me for Valentine's Day in favour of taking his daughter skiing during half term. This will be the last year it will happen I think as she is 17 and won't get half terms next year. I always make hubby one card to take away with him for every day he is away.  I also always make a card for Valentine's Day itself and this is it:

The theme over at Papertake Weekly is "love actually" and a Spoon Full of Sugar has a great sketch.  I made an easel card with the uppermost part matching the sketch.
Images are of course H&S.  How I love these cuties!  I coloured them with Copics and Promarkers.  The Airmail heart - to which I added a heart charm  (the key was already there) is a topper from Papermania I think (as is the little airmail pocket on the base of the card.
Sentiment stamps on the top are by Stampin Up and an unknown heart shaped stamp.  The buckle on the base is cut with a Sizzix and glazed and the over-flashy charm was coloured with peel off colouring pens. Thank you for stopping by!
