Sketch Saturday #377

It's Saturday and time for another great sketch at
and we are delighted to be sponsored by our very own
Niki

I'm wondering if I am losing my mojo for card-crafting.  This would be a disaster given how much crafting stuff I actually own.  Maybe that's the problem though - I just have so much stuff that I can't tidy it up because I have run out of places to store it and there is so much choice I never know what I want to use.  I have owned this Sizzix gumball machine die and embossing folder set for maybe two years and this is it's first and only use.

I do like my "One in Amelia (n)" sentiment - Amelia being the name of the recipient of course.  I wish it had come with a stamp though. It took me no less than 9 attempts to colour the red gumballs with my brayer without getting ink on the rest of it.

Why not do some scooching in your own craft space and join in the fun!
I am entering my card into the "make it colourful" challenge at Simon Says Stamp this week

Oh my goodness Lesley, I absolutely get what you're saying. I understand the feeling overwhelmed with the sheer volume of stash that you own. I have stuff for more years that I want to count & have never used it. It takes over half the downstairs! I put a very strict ban on purchasing 2 or 3 years ago now & only buy essentials. I assume it must be helping bit I there's not much visible difference! I suppose more of it goes in boxes now than used to.

I know I made far more cards when I had less stash though....

That aside, your gum machine looks fabulous & I adore the sentiment! Very creative of you.

Persevere with the stash use up & maybe have a clear out if you have things you won't use anymore? I donated loads of stuff to guides/brownies/rainbows, playgroups, even friends children. Just a thought.

Hugs xx

Oh my goodness...don't you hate when an idea for a card that seems like it should work so slick takes FOREVER to get it actually done?! Been there too Lesley but good thing you stuck with it as it turned out really FAB! I have LOTS of dies that I haven't used yet either :o) Good for you! Hugs D

Yep, been there, got the t shirt! Love how you persevered with the brayering though, only you would have the patience, and your play on the recipient's name is very clever! Hugs, Juliexx
