Sketch Saturday #359

It's Saturday and time for another great sketch at
and we are delighted to be sponsored by
A Day for Daisies

I love images from our wonderful sponsor and this week I have used this gorgeous "Balloon-frog" which you can find here for a card for a male friend of mine overseas.  The greeting in side is of course Hoppy Birthday.
When I saw Niki's fun sketch I knew I wanted to opt for the UK's Union Flag as the background and I also remembered I had the perfect papers called Portobello Road from Papermania.  Typically all of the Union Flag papers had been used (I suspect at a jubilee party at my neighbours' in 2012) and so I had to make my own flag by cutting the various shapes out myself.  It's a really tricky flag - much trickier than it looks and I daresay I've got it wrong but there is no missing what it's supposed to represent.   The cute frog has some paper pieced bloomers to coordinate and was coloured in Copics.
Now we would like you to scooch some space on your craft table and come and play along with us.  Don't forget to share some love with my fellow Saturdays too.
I am entering my card into the following challenges:
Simon Says Stamp - Anything Goes; and
Creative Inspirations - Cute Critters

Hi Lesley, this is a really great card and you must have the patience of a Saint to paper piece the flag and the bloomers! I love it. Thank you for joining in the fun with us this week at Creative Inspirations...
