Mo meets Sir Stampalot for a Basic Grey CR84FN Sketch

I thought I would have a go at something "bright and bold" today for #74 at Basic Grey using these fab and little used "Wander" papers and the tricky colour combo of "Grape, Blue and Green" at CR84FN  #60, combined with Angie's great sketch at Sketch N Stash #93.  Sir Stampalot want us to "take flight" and it was the perfect opportunity to dig out Mo's wonderful "Dare" image for challenge #146 at Mo's Digital Pencil 2.
I coloured my wistful pilot with Copics and Promarkers and added a Hero Arts balloon stamp from which I cut the balloon, curved it and reapplied it with silicone to provide some dimension.  I really like the EK Success "adornament" twine crisscrossed on the left.  it's got frilly bits on it in just the right colours for my theme and I added a button for "Bingo" at the Ribbon Girl where I used the third column of image, twine and button.  My postage stamp sentiment is by Whimsey but I mounted it on a die cut from a PTI die and the "Reach for the Sky" is also PTI.

I have spent the last 5 days looking after The Hubster who had knee surgery last Thursday.  Thank goodness we have done so well at the Olympics as it kept him well entertained.  I also had my Mum (I suspect she would object to being called "The Mumster") to stay for a week.  She wasn't very well either but I managed to escape to the Craft Croft for some intermittent play between doctor, hospital and pharmacy visits, cooking, serving and making endless cups of tea, and taking Mum out a few times for her Marks and Spencer's fix.
