Sketch Saturday #215

It's Saturday which means another fab sketch from
Lizy has given us a great sketch this week and I had lots of fun making my card using this fun image called "Pig in Mud" from our lovely sponsor at WingsandWillows which I coloured in Copics and Promarkers.
My papers are DCWV Garden Party.  My horizontal stripes are little fences cut with a Martha Stewart punch and I added a Memory Box tree die cut.  I should really have put the tree behind the image but dozy Dora here decided it was okay to stick down the image before I thought of that.  I made some little feed sacks with my Cricut and "tied" them with bakers' twine and I Cricut cut elongated balloons and added them to hand cut stalks and leaves to make reeds.   Most of the sentiment is Word processed but the "Happy" is a stamp by Autumn Leaves from the Always and Forever set.  My clouds have been enhanced (or maybe not!!!) with liqued applique.
This card is for my grown up nephew.  Inside the card it actually reads ... Hope you are as happy as "ANYTHING on your birthday".
Have a look at the wondeful creations made by the Saturdays team, play along with our challenge and you could be this week's lucky winner.

I am entering my card into the following challenges:
Paperplay 27 - Happy Birthday
Creatalicious 35 Anything goes; and
Crafts and Me 91 1 image,2 papers and 3 embellishments (I used more than 3 but so did the DT!)

How have I managed to miss this fabby piggy!! I blame the weather as I'm trying to do gardening in between the constant showers. Anyways he is one cute pig and I think he looks adorable peeking out between the branches. Hugs Mrs A.
